Members are invited to bring along friends and family to have a mini have-a-go day at the club where they will get to try archery with a dedicated coach but without the queues of the big annual event

Albion/Windsor Shoot
The Albion shoot on the 19th of July has now been moved to the 26th of July
The Albion is a 9 dozen round starting at 3 dozen at 80yards. 3 dozen at 60 yards and then 3 dozen at 50 yards.
There will be Windsor rounds to accompany the Albion. The Windsor rounds start at 60 50 40
A Windsor 50 starting at 50 40 30 yards
Windsor 40 and a Windsor 30 details will go on the board after the mid summer shoot
This is a great round for experienced archers and beginners so come and have a go. Its an easy and relaxed atmosphere to try a competition and to really test yourselves
24 hour charity archery shoot
This year, Stalybridge Archery Club will be holding a 24 hour shoot to raise money for our two chosen charities, Meningitis Now and Prostate Cancer UK.
During this event, there will always be at least one person shooting at the club throughout the 24 hours. Please look out for ways to donate to support this mammoth effort, come down and shoot or just pop in with encouragement and cake.

CANCELLED - SAC Clout day at New Century Archery Club
Due to lack of interest at this time, we have had to cancel this event. If anyone is keen to try clout shooting then please put a suggestion in the box snd we’ll look into trying again in the future
Mid Summer Metric Shoot
Steve Watts has kindly stepped up to do the mid summer shoot on the 8th of this month. The WA metric rounds will start at 7pm and the distances start at 70meters for recurve and 50 meters for barebow and compound.
For anyone who wants to shoot a closer round there are various distances available from 70 60 50 and 40 meters.
This is a 6 dozen round. If people can get there early to help Steve this would be really helpful

Mini Maintenance Day
Following the Junior session in the morning, member volunteers will be carrying out a mini maintenance day to keep the club and grounds in good order and looking their best for the Have-a-Go day the week after. There will be no shooting during this time.
Please volunteer some of your time to help, many hands make light work and this club is run and looked after by its members, for its members.

Dearne Valley Field Shoot
SAC club members are invited to a day of field shooting at Dearne Valley Archery Club where you can experience a field shoot in a mature forest. Seniors and Juniors are welcome. We will leave SAC at 9am or people can join us there at 10am.
